GALLERY HTML GENERATOR HANDBOOK


This DS module allows a client to generate submission calendar que entries in the Tab 3: Submission Que zone in the main area of the program either for static [hosted or clean gallery files already on the server with no reciprocal links at the top of gallery files] (no FTPing of files required) URLs or generated HTML file sets [reciprocal links at the top of gallery files] (to be uploaded via FTP after before the submission process) URLs.

  • all generated submissions are appended to the Submission Calendar tab

    How to activate in DS



    List of Steps

  • STEP 1:
  • activate the gallery html generator in DS [see above]

  • STEP 2:
  • determine if submission will be a clean / hosted type or if HTML files with reciprocal links [from a gallery template] will need to be generated and FTP'd to the server

  • To generate static URLs for the submission calendar tab [no reciprocal links - the galleries are on a server already and you need only to key in the same URL] ...


  • To generate HTML files with reciprocal links from a gallery template and upload to FTP server ...


  • STEP 3:
  • define submission type


  • STEP 4:
  • click run to generate submission calendar que entries


  • STEP 5:
  • if HTML files were generated [non-static] upload generated HTML files with a favorite FTP program to your server


  • STEP 6:
  • cancel out of the gallery HTML generator. activate the submission calendar que tab. decide what to do with the generated submission calendar que entries [either begin submission process or store in the automated scheduler for a later submission or archive - in which case right click mouse button and select appropriate option(s)] - to start manual / auto submission double click any item in the list. it is possible to select multiple items by holding down the shift (or control) key and left clicking the mouse button [multi highlight].
